I apprenticed with him inside his Toltec Lineage, worked in his office and helped him run his Power Journeys to sacred sights. The Toltec Wisdom and Practice is deeply woven into everything I offer as it’s changed my life in profound ways.

This conversation happened many years ago, but it is so relevant today.

WHAT IS EFT?

FIRST…My personal experience is that I avoided it for about a year. Any time I would call my friend about how stressed out I was single parenting my son Max, she would suggest tapping and I would cringe. I thought it looked ridiculous and there was no way I was going to tap on my face and say silly affirmations.

But one day the stress was at an all time high and I called her again and decided to give it a try and it worked IMMEDIATELY. I was FLOORED at how much it soothed my nerves and grounded me. I signed up to get certified with the same teacher my friend was certified with and started to use it any time my son was with me. I also taught Max how to do it and he would do it along with me. The benefits for the both of us are so obvious as it just snaps us both out of any mood or struggle we’re facing. It helps us connect and we laugh when we do it together.
I use EFT in my intuitive healing & coaching sessions and use it at the beginning of many of my online courses when we all meet on zoom together. It’s a great way to ground before class starts. I have a weekly group EFT tapping session for newly sober moms who tell me that this tapping practice is saving them from going back to a relapse, keeping depression at bay and soothes them when they’re stressed.
Clearly I’ve changed my mind about this practice and I highly recommend giving it a try.


EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques, is a unique combination of Eastern and Western healing modalities combined into one. It’s loosely based on Acupuncture and Acupressure techniques, combined with elements of exposure therapy and cognitive therapy. This practice has been scientifically proven to be more effective than talk therapy alone and works on the subconscious level (which talk therapy cannot reach in and of itself). Tapping on Meridian points activates an increase flow of electrical information through the nervous system and has a calming effect and grounds you on a subconscious level as it’s sending the information down through layers of consciousness we cannot reach in other ways.

While it looks a little strange and might feel that way when you do it for the first time, dozens of studies show that this healing modality has long term results for anxiety, depression, weight loss, emotional blockages, limiting emotions and more. Use it on anything and everything and see how things shift for you. It’s suggested to do it on a regular basis so that the new information you send to the subconscious can take root.

I love using art, Toltec wisdom, connection with source energy, subconscious reprogramming techniques, and a little Rage Against the Machine to bring me back to center.

I got sober from a meth addiction when I was 18 years old, (just celebrated 36 years of continuous sobriety), apprenticed with Miguel Ruiz (author of the 4 Agreements), I’m a full time artist, intuitive healer, certified mindset and expansion coach and the proud single mama to my son Max who has Down syndrome.

I've been on a lifelong journey of learning how to get out of my own way so that I can be fully self expressed, make the mark I'm here to make and love myself NMFW (No Matter F*ing What). I love working with others who want the same. 

I’m all about Recovery, Discovery and Curiosity, Creativity, Connection and LOVE.

I offer Artwork, Healing and Coaching Sessions, Retreats, Photo Sessions and Courses all to help support you in finding your own inner peace, self confidence, creative self expression, connection, love and joy.
