We have much more power to control where we put our attention than we think we do.

We can change our perception of our daily lives

by looking more closely at what’s going right.

Your Mind has 60,000 thoughts per day and 50,000 of them are the same thoughts as the day before and the day before that. The negative stories and false narratives we feed ourselves sound so true because we’ve been saying them to ourselves so long in our own voice that we believe it. But that doesn’t mean they’re true. It means we’re addicted to listening to that same “song” over and over and over again to the point where it’s playing in our heads without even noticing it. It’s stuck in our subconscious mind as “reality” until we start to play a new tune on repeat and it gets lodged as the new default setting.

Imagine taking one action a day for 30 days that brings you that same feeling of a soft breeze brushing over your skin that lulls you into that blissful state of needing to nap in the middle of the day. Not because you’re exhausted. But because you feel so peaceful.

Your mind is quiet. There’s nothing to fix. You’re relaxed, in love with the present moment.

The back story:

15 years ago I was a new mama that needed to put my son Max down for a nap every day. It was the one time during the day I imaged getting a break and resting myself. But every day I had a Groundhog Day experience of my son falling asleep and as I tiptoed out of the bedroom he would wake up and cry and cry until I tried again to put him to sleep. I started to get resentful and I realized that if this was going to be the situation I had to change the one thing that was changeable(hopefully) and that was my attitude.

So I brought my phone into the room and when he fell asleep I decided to take a photo of the 2 of us just to distract myself. What I noticed what that I was missing EVERYTHING. I was so focused on what wasn’t going my way that I missed the present moment - the love between us - his connection to me - and our special a time this was in both of our lives.

I started Gathering Evidence every single day at his naptime. When he transitioned out of needing naps I had 3 years of daily photos of our relationship and a time capsule of something that would never happen again.

I started teaching this practice online about a year later and have been offering this practice calling it different names like “The Daily Miracle” and “In Plain Sight” but ultimately I’ve always talked about it as a gathering of evidence of what’s going right.

It’s changed people’s lives. People are STILL taking the daily photo, and some people took more than one photo daily and continued to discover that their lives were FILLED with abundance that they had overlooked.

I’m finishing up the 1st Edition of the Book “Gathering Evidence… of everything that’s going right” That’s going to be self published by the time of this November Session of the course. I’m so excited to bring you the practice live with me and a group of people all ready to turn their lives around from noticing the negative to celebrating the positive and to getting this book out into your hands when it’s published.



DETAILS:

You can choose how you want to navigate the 30 days of Gathering Evidence.

Choice #1 You can focus on ONE Subject for 30 days like I did with my son Max at Nap Time. A lot of people decide to take a photo every morning of their morning coffee.

Choice #2 You can focus on a different subject every day with the help of a prompt you’ll receive from me daily in your inbox.

There’s no wrong way to do this. Just pick and let’s go!

WHEN:

We start on Friday, Nov. 1st and go through Saturday, Nov. 30th

WHERE:
The first day, Friday, Nov. 1st at 10:30am pacific time, we meet on Zoom for a 1 hour live session. You’ll learn all about Gathering Evidence, meet everyone else in the class and set our intention for the month ahead.
HOW:

Every day for 30 days you’ll receive a photo prompt daily in your inbox by 5am pacific time.

You’ll post your images on Instagram and you’ll use the hastag #gatheringevidence

AND TAG ME @cjust so I can see it.

We’ll meet again on Zoom on Saturday, Nov. 30th at 10:30am pacific time for a celebration of all of the of the evidence we’ve gathered of everything that’s going right. I’ll share the work on the screen for those of you who are ok with me sharing it and we can hear what this process has meant for you.*This is totally optional. If you’re not comfortable sharing the work that’s totally fine.
