No. I’ll be giving you prompts to dive into this process even deeper and guides to use as you go. I won’t be looking over what you do so there’s no pressure on you at all. You can learn, take notes, take the prompts and do them whenever it feels like right timing for you.

Learn more about my latest Art as Activism Collaborative Project with my son Max HERE
My work in the world has many facets.
All of it has a thread running through it regardless of what I’m doing.
It’s about getting to the other side of suffering and into the experience of love and freedom.
It’s about relationship to self, to other, to the world, to the spiritual realm and finding our place within it all and the connections between us all.
I really don't care how much art you make if you don’t love yourself. (NMFW :: No Matter F*ing What)
And I really don’t care about that friend you once had in school that had Down syndrome who you think is somehow like my son and how “they are always so loving”. That’s a stereotype. Lean in and become curious about each individual for who they are. Drop the assumptions. Drop the limits you put on people based on who you think they are and what you think they are capable of. Let them show you who they are.
I really don’t like that we beat ourselves up for the types of coping mechanisms we reach toward to handle trauma, pain and discomfort.
I really DO care that all of us have an opportunity to thrive in the world inside and out.
That we know we’re worthy to take up space and that other people’s opinions of us do not define us.
That we no longer have the need to prove ourselves to anyone - but most importantly we know we don’t have to prove anything to ourselves.
That we all have the opportunity to be fully self expressed and be respected for our unique voice and point of view and how we show up in the world exactly, authentically as ourselves.
That we all feel included if we want to be included.
That we are included.
I’m a Freedom Activist.
Freedom from the addiction of being so mean to ourselves for every little thing. Freedom from the old stories we tell ourselves about who we think we are based on the past. Freedom from addictions to anything outside of us, knowing we are complete and safe and whole right now as we are. Freedom from stereotypes, Ableism, and all the other “isms”, phobias, fear, hate, assumptions, that keep us separate rather than celebrated.
Remembering who we really are. Waking Up. BEing Love fully expressed outward with no need for anything in return.
I believe art connects us in ways that nothing else can.
I believe art can be a voice for those that aren’t able to use theirs.
I believe art can create financial support for those you’re trying to help, whether it be a non-profit, a family, endangered animals, a community or individuals that are marginalized in some way.
I believe merging art with a cause has a WIN / WIN / WIN impact. The Artist, the Collector of the Art, and the Cause all connect with each other in service to the change they want to see in the world.
I believe in a practice of using art as activism with Love, Awareness and Education at the core.
What if your art could be used as a catalyst to help spread awareness and education about a cause that matters to you.
What if you could designate a portion of the profits to an organization that you believe in.
Imagine your art bringing joy to the people that purchase it and bring change on a global level at the same time. IT CAN.
